The Project Manager is the individual charged with responsibility for the complete and satisfactory execution of the entire construction effort. The Project Manager will monitor/control construction through administrative direction of the on-site Superintendent, Project Engineer and clerical support staff to ensure that the project is built on schedule and within budget. This position reports to the Senior Vice President, makes significant independent judgments and is responsible for careful observance of corporate policies and objectives.

Educational and experience requirements include: 4 year engineering degree or equivalent combinations technical training and/or related construction experience.  Minimum 10 – 15 years experience in similar facility construction.  Thorough knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment and methods.  Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques. Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities.  Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory, planning and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills essential. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, project management and scheduling software and database management.
