The Project Engineer is responsible for coordinating the complete construction and administrative requirements of the various bid packages on a project. The Project Engineer reports to the Project Manager and the Senior Vice President of Operations. The Project Engineer is the key technical person on a project and must possess a strict attention to detail, a profound appreciation for time constraints and a sober understanding of the dividends reaped through proper documentation.

Educational and experience requirements include:  4 year engineering degree or equivalent technical training and related experience.  Minimum of 2 years similar construction engineering experience.  Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, etc., plus an in‑depth understanding of the interdependence and relationship between other functional units required.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management and scheduling software and database management required. Registration as a Professional Engineer is valuable.
